A well-prepared photo means fewer corrections

Lay the book or card flat and use light without glare. Include the ingredients and instructions for the same recipe in your source. Clear material helps AI, but you should still compare the result with the original.

Restore, compare and complete

Small marks matter: half a teaspoon rather than two, the temperature, time and servings. If part of the source is cut off, take another photo or type the missing text manually.

  1. Choose adding a recipe from a photo or file.
  2. Upload a clear source and wait for the proposed restored entry.
  3. Compare ingredients and steps, correct mistakes and then save.

Keep the source and your family’s changes clear

Use the description to note where the recipe came from and distinguish the source from your own changes. Household members can then read a recipe entry instead of repeatedly zooming into a photograph.

Moving a recipe into your own workspace does not grant permission to redistribute it. Share only material you are allowed to share.

Must I keep the AI suggestion exactly as it is?

No. Correct ingredients, quantities and instructions before saving. Reviewing is an important part of restoring a recipe.

Where can I find the recipe afterwards?

In your family book. The restored filter separates photo or file imports from new AI ideas.
