From a photo to a recipe you can edit

Take a photo of a recipe card or choose a file containing the recipe. AI helps read the text and separate ingredients from preparation steps. Review the result, especially when the original contains handwriting, fractions or unusual units.

Check the transcription before saving

Restoring a recipe works from existing material. It is different from asking AI to invent a new meal idea.

  1. Choose recipe import from a photo or file and upload a clear source.
  2. Compare quantities, units, temperature and preparation time with the original.
  3. Correct any mistakes and save the finished entry in your family book.

Keep track of where a recipe came from

Recipes restored from photos and files have a separate restored filter. Generated ideas appear under AI, while manually entered recipes have their own filter. This helps distinguish a family original from a new suggestion.

Free, Family Plus and Family Pro use included AI allowances and optional paid AI packs. Family Unlimited requires your own OpenAI key and does not include AI paid for by Przepisowo. OpenAI bills API usage separately; saved-data limits still follow your plan.

Questions about this feature

Will AI always read a recipe correctly?

No. An unclear image or vague handwritten amounts can lead to errors. Check and edit the result before saving.

Does a ChatGPT subscription pay for my API key?

No. The key uses the OpenAI API, which is billed separately from a ChatGPT subscription.
